Benro's TMA28A Mach3 Series II Aluminum Tripod  is a sturdy support option, capable of supporting up to 14 kg of gear. Made from aluminum, the 4-section legs are secured via twist locks and allow the tripod to extend to its maximum height of 155.4 cm with the center column raised. Alternatively, the center column can be swapped out for the included short column, which allows the tripod to drop to its minimum height of 31.5 cm.

Adding even more versatility, it is possible to unscrew one of the legs from the tripod, attach it to the center column, and with the addition of an optional (separately available) head, turn it into a monopod. The tripod's rubber feet can also be swapped out for metal spikes so that it can be used on hard surfaces, such as ice, or soft surfaces, like carpeting or a lawn. A ballast hook on the center column allows for the addition of stabilising weight, and the included carrying case protects the tripod during transport. A 3/8"-16 threaded stud on the mounting platform lets you attach a head of your choice.
